Well some will come down from the North, but some up from the South from the Sahara. Lots of people come from Agadir, Tafroute and Marrakech taking in some beautiful scenery on the way along the coastal road or across the Atlas Mountains. I do like visitors, I enjoy the company and I like to listen to what people say so that I can add to my vocabulary. I know the names of the people closest to me, although I struggle saying "Sally", and I can say my own name. I can say "hello" and speak a little French and Italian "bonjour", "coucou" and "ciao". I whistle, squark and can be a real chatterbox. I also clear my throat, cough and laugh which can sound remarkably human. I get other local birds visiting my cage daily and I don't object to them dropping in for a quick drink or a nibble. My cage is always well stocked and I often drop food when I eat which they are welcome to. The weather is beautiful here today and I shall have my usual misting with water later which I thoroughly enjoy. I like to keep myself looking good, just in case someone decides to come down and meet me.......
