Mirleft
Mirleft is a small Berber town approximately 2 hours transfer time from Agadir airport. In Mirleft the Atlantic Ocean meets the mountains and wonderful views along the road going south from Aglou Beach lead to the cosmopolitan town. A military Spanish fort built in 1935 overlooks the town and is a good place to visit for a view of the area. Mirleft is becoming popular with lovers of water and wind sports with its uncommercialised tranquil beaches. It is place popular with artists and musicians with a gentle climate and incredible stunning coastline. Mirleft offers a variety of traditional Moroccan cuisine with an abundance of fresh seafood. The nearest towns are Sidi Ifni with its amazing, renown beach and Tiznit which is well known for its silver. Both towns offer an opportunity to take a glimpse into traditional Moroccan life and the numerous local markets providing not only hand crafted bargains but also the chance to just take in the sights, sounds and smells of Morocco.
